Hi- my name is Whitney. I am Wade Davey’s sister. As many of Wade’s friends and family are aware, Wade suffered a devastating hemorrhagic stroke on Monday Feb 19th. He was emergently taken to the ER and then transported to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He underwent treatment for the ruptured aneurysm, but has since suffered multiple embolic strokes. His recovery time will be prolonged and it is not known at this time what his long term prognosis is. It is expected he will remain in the Neuro ICU for several weeks, and then likely rehab. If you know Wade, you know what kind of person he is: kind, caring, always worried about others. His family and friends are the most important thing in his life and he would do anything he could for them. Although he has never had much in life, he is always generous with what he has.

His medical bills are expected to be overwhelming. If you would like to assist with his financial burden, any donation would be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will go directly to offset Wade’s medical bills and expenses.
