On Saturday, February 15, 2020, George Wabuge was in a serious cycling accident and is in critical condition in the ICU with a severe brain injury.

The Wabuge family is taking it day by day, but the reality of their current situation is serious and scary. George is in a coma (partially medically induced) while they wait for the swelling in his brain to reduce. There are some other complications with his kidneys, pneumonia, and his body’s ability to regulate his temperature & heart rate. He does have brain activity, and the bleeding has stopped.

The nature of this injury means that if/when he recovers, the Wabuge family will not know what his mental and physical condition will be.

George's wife Kristen, and their children Simone and Quinton currently live in Daegu, Korea. They are in need of financial support to help cover the cost of George's medical expenses. We are hoping to raise $5,000.00 but anything above that is, of course, a blessing. Donations would be most helpful if received as soon as possible, as George's condition is dire.
