Loving like Norma
Donation protected
For all that knew Norma Kay Burdette they quickly developed a deep understanding of her commitment and love for her family and friends. Her passion and purpose in life was to care for others. She was deeply committed to walking any difficult season with loved ones. In true Norma style she wasn’t just one to send her thoughts and prayers when she saw a need. She was the first to take actionable steps to implement measures to meet specific needs. One such need is for her nephew, Ken Johnson, who experienced an accident that led to the loss of his leg. Ken has dealt with significant pain over the years post-accident and needs a new prosthesis. The substantial improvement in technology could assist in providing an on-going quality of life for Ken. His mobility and pain from phantom leg syndrome would be markedly improved with a new prosthetic leg. Ken has been referred to Emory in Atlanta, GA for assessment in July and his insurance has declined coverage for the new prosthetic leg. The expense is $30,000 and our family would be honored if you joined us in “loving like Norma”, through action and serving those we love so dearly.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this worthy cause in memory of Norma Burdette.
