OLGC Supports the Starghill Family
The end of the school year, for most children, is one of the happiest times of the year. For most. But for two children, Brie and Britt Starghill, this year, it was one of the saddest times and one that they will never forget. They had to share the news with their classmates that their father had died.
Their father, Rev. Dr. Britt Starghill, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from a heart attack. He was a pastor of Kaighn Avenue Baptist Church in Camden, NJ . He served the Lord and this ministry for 19 years.
His children are currently finishing kindergarten and 4th grade at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Moorestown, NJ. What better way is there to demonstrate our christian values to our own children than to help this family in their time of need?
Flowers and food are so thoughtful during these trying times. But, how meaningful would it be to support their family by raising money toward Britt and Brie's tuition for next year?
