The Gift of Motherhood

Imagine marrying your high school sweetheart and having a plan. "Get married and start a family". Then life has other plans.... Cancer, chemotherapy, two stem cell transplants and a divorce have left my best friend's dreams of having children in pieces. Chemotherapy treatments for Hodgkins Lymphoma made pregnancy not an option for Erin without the IVF process. Erin's oncologist understood how important having children was to her. Prior to her first transplant, Erin was able to go through the process of retrieving and freezing eggs. Erin has been in remission for 5 years and has the blessing of her oncologist and OB doctors to move forward. Her friends and family want to give the gift of motherhood. Erin has completed all of the tests and treatments but has one obstacle left... Cost. Despite trying to save up money (she's a school teacher) she doesn't have the necessary funds. We are reaching out to find people who have a little compassion and a few extra dollars to help her become a mother. Donate what you can. Thanks!
