Edward Eizach was admitted to GMH from Sagua Managu following apnea at birth on May 12, 2015. He was on ventilator until May 19, 2015 and now on CPAP. He was in coma for more than 2 weeks. We were advised that he might not make it but he is fighting. He has HYPOXIC ISCHEMIC ENCEPHALOPATHY- brain damage due to lack of oxygen..His feeding is via tube as he couldn't swallow. He needs to be suctioned always as phlegm and milk aspiration are accummulating on his mouth and throat. We are worried that later on he will have pneumonia. They are suggesting to put G tube on his tummy. We want to bring our baby to St. Lukes (Manila) for much better evaluation of his brain and treatment. He was supposed to leave last May 30 via commercial plane but his vitals went down and had a hard time breathing. Luckily, it happened right at the doorstep of the nursery when he was about to leave for airport.  He is a fighter and needs to be seen by specialists and be given a chance to live as a normal kid. Now, we need air ambulance to transport him. Please help us raise funds for our baby.
