Donny's Medical Fund

The Kimball Area School Staff developed this campaign to help out one of our very own students and his family through a recent struggle.

Donny is a Kindergarten student at Kimball Elementary School in Kimball, Minnesota. He was unable to begin this school year with the rest of his classmates because he was battling cancer. After many treatments and hospital visits, Donny and his family got the great news that he was cancer free.  He was able to join the rest of his siblings and classmates in school earlier this winter. A few months went by without any problems and he was able to bring a smile that lit up the room with him every day.

On Easter weekend, Donny started to complain that he was not feeling well and that he had a headache. His parents brought him in to the hospital to get tests done to find out what was wrong. What they found out was that Donny relapsed with acute myeloid leukemia, it is now in his brain and spinal fluid.

Please help us in supporting Donny and his family through this battle. All of the money raised will go to help this family support their child's medical needs.

As a staff, it is very difficult to see one of our own be put in this type of situation. We cannot begin to tell you how much it would mean if you helped us share our love, care, and support towards Donny and his family.

Thank you!
