Mango's Surgery & Spaying the other PEEGS.

We are asking you for help to save Mango, our wonderful little potbelly. She has been with us for almost 7 years since her seizure in a cruelty case. She came from deplorable conditions. In her time with us she has blossomed into a happy pig. She spends her days wandering the farm with her sister Kiwi.

This past week Mango became quiet and less active. We had our farm vet come out and examine her. She was started on pain meds and antibiotics. 24 hrs later she refused to eat and leave her bed. The farm vet returned and recommended referral to the Nemo Farm Animal Hospital at Cornell.

Mango was stabilized overnight and needs emergency surgery to remove her uterus. We feel it is worth giving her the chance to come home and spend her days growing old and wandering the farm with Kiwi. Will you help us give her that chance?

UPDATE: Mango had life saving surgery at Cornell's Nemo Farm Animal Hospital. She is currently coming up on 24 hours post op and is recovering under the watchful eye of her team of vets.
