Anyone who knows Mike and Marissa knows what amazing and giving people they are. They are now in a situation and time where they could use help themselves (though they are hesitant to allow this campaign). Their family has recently discovered that Mike needs open heart surgery (date of surgery January 10th.) As you can imagine, the news has been a shock. It will require a long (up to 3 month) recovery period where Mike will not be able to work and medical bills will be considerable. Anything you would like to contribute will not be in vain and will be much appreciated by their family as they navigate the next few months of healing and financial challenges.
