Lexie's surgery

Hi everyone, I'm Kat, and I urgently need your help to save my beloved dog Lexie.

Yesterday, my normally playful and energetic dog began showing signs of severe distress. Lexie couldn't urinate despite repeatedly trying, refused food and water, and became extremely lethargic. Watching her suffer and strain unsuccessfully to relieve herself was heartbreaking.

At midnight, I rushed her to the emergency vet, where we discovered the cause: bladder stones completely blocking her urinary tract. The situation was so serious that the vet had to manually drain her bladder to prevent it from rupturing. They've advised that Lexie needs immediate surgery to remove these stones, with the procedure estimated to cost between £2,000-£3,000.

I've already paid £625 for the emergency visit, and I can provide all documentation of these expenses. I admit that not having pet insurance was a serious oversight on my part – one that I'll rectify as soon as Lexie recovers.

I'm hoping to raise £2,000 to help cover part of the surgery costs. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. Lexie is my faithful companion, and seeing her in such pain is unbearable. Please help me give her the medical care she desperately needs.
