Support for Murakami Children After Losing Their Beloved Dad

On October 12, we lost an amazing person who touched many lives with his carefree spirit, teasing laughter, and loving leadership. Masakazu Murakami, affectionately called “Kazu,” “Mura,” “Masa,” and “Mazu,” by his friends, family and colleagues, passed away unexpectedly from an accident related to his diabetes. He leaves behind his wife, Yuka, and two children, Taiga, 14, and Aika, 9. Taiga and Aika meant the world to Masakazu – he raised them to dream big and believe in themselves. Like Masakazu, Taiga and Aika are both athletic, fun-loving, and care greatly for the well-being of others.

Masakazu’s family and friends have launched this GoFundMe campaign to create a college trust for Taiga and Aika. It is our hope that having money set aside for their education will allow Yuka, Taiga, and Aika to focus on healing their hearts and minds during this difficult time. Masakazu approached his work and life with perseverance, brightness, and goodwill for everyone. Please help ensure that his children can carry on his legacy, dream big, and fulfill their promising future.

私たちは、屈託のない笑顔、愛情深いリーダーシップで世界中の数多くの人々に接し、影響を与えた素晴らしい人物を亡くしました。友人、同僚、家族から、「かず」「むら」「まさ」「まず」と親しみを込めて呼ばれていた村上雅一さんが、10月12日に、糖尿病に起因する事故で急逝しました。雅一さんは、妻の由佳さんと、子供の泰雅君　(14歳) と愛佳ちゃん (9 歳) を後に残しました。泰雅君と愛佳ちゃんは雅一さんにとって世界を意味していました。雅一さんのように、泰雅君と愛佳ちゃんは運動好きで、楽しいことが大好きで、他の人に思いやりがある子供達です。

雅一さんの家族と友人は、泰雅君と愛佳ちゃんが大学に進学するための教育信託基金を作るため、この GoFundMe キャンペーンを立ち上げました。私達は、由佳さん、泰雅君、愛佳ちゃんが、教育のために資金を得ることで、この困難な時期に心を癒すことに専念できるようになることを願っています。雅一さんは、持前の忍耐と明るさで、誰に対しても好意を持って仕事と生活に取り組みました。雅一さんの子供達が彼の素晴らしかった生き様を継承し、大きな夢を持ち、有望な未来を実現できるよう、ご支援をお願い致します。
