At around 1:30 a.m., our dog woke us up by barking nonstop, desperately trying to get our attention. We quickly realized there was a large fire spreading through our apartment. we’ve worked so hard for everything we had . If it weren’t for our dog and the grace of God, things could have been so much worse . we were able to get out just in time before the fire destroyed the entire apartment complex.

We still don’t know what caused the fire. Electrical problem or Broiler room . At first, the rental office told us we’d be able to go back and collect whatever could be saved, as long as maintenance accompanied us. However, later that same day, they stopped communicating and had the building gated off, declaring it condemned ,meaning no one is allowed to enter again.

We’re not used to asking for help and truly don’t feel comfortable doing so, but any little bit of support would mean so much to us. Anything to help my family , my mother, brother, myself, and our brave dog , as we try to rebuild after losing everything.
