Chantal's Journey to Recovery

Hi, I'm Chantal- I'm 30 years old from London Ontario (Canada). I had been working as a Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care travel nurse in California and in July, on my way home from working an overnight shift my car was struck and involved in a collision.

Unfortunately, I sustained a traumatic brain injury and am currently in rehabilitation while living somewhere with some specialized care to provide for my needs at this time. As you can imagine this journey has been both incredibly emotionally and financially exhausting due to the nature of medical needs and ongoing care until I am well enough to hopefully return back to being a PICU nurse.

In addition to not being able to currently work there have been a number of additional medical expenses incurred during recovery over the last 6 months which are ongoing. Any contribution you may be able to make to offset some of this financial burden for myself and my family is so so appreciated.
