Lucy’s Vet Bills

Hi, my name is Lucy. I am a 6 year old miniature schnauzer. I have 3 doggy sisters, 2 human sisters and 2 loving parents.

In the last month, my parents have had 3 cars break down which they could only just afford to fix. Now in the last week, two of my doggy sisters have been sick, one requiring a 2 night stay at the vets and the other requiring surgery. Both bills were quite expensive. Now, I have been diagnosed with an unknown illness, which is damaging my liver. There is no guarantee that I will survive, but my chance at survival depends on quite a costly stay at the vets with lots of intensive treatments. Due to all the expenses my parents have had to pay in the last month, they can barely afford my treatment, at some point the only option will be to put me to sleep. Even $5 could help my family get me my much needed treatment I’m order for me to come home healthy. I really want to come home and see them all again!!!

Update: turns out she has severe pancreatitis and sepsis. Not amazing news but no liver damage and treatable, fingers crossed treatment works
