Help Andy in his recovery

Story

On June 3rd, our beloved friend, brother, son, husband and new father, Andy suffered a horrific accident that left him with multiple compound fractures in his arm and both legs, and the risk of amputation of parts of one or both legs. While the prognosis remains unclear, what we do know is that Andy's road to recovery will be long, and likely painful. After overcoming tremendous odds and making a full recovery from several brain surgeries due to an infection in the brain in December of 2013, Andy married his sweetheart Jen. Their first beautiful child Violet was born one year later, in January. Since that time Andy has become a dedicated family man, preferring to spend his time at home with his daughter, tending his garden, learning the finer points of barbecuing, or taking Violet to visit her grandparents. He works very hard to support his family, especially Violet, as she spent her first month of life in the hospital due to minor, yet ongoing health complications of her own. Not being able to work for his daughter will be Andy's singular motivation during this process, yet the most difficult part of this accident for him to accept.Andy has been a self-employed finish carpenter for many years.  He is skilled and artful in his work, and prefers remodel to new construction, as it allows him to spend his time working with others on their home. When not working, Andy regularly gives his time to help friends and family with home projects of their own. We are learning that it will likely be a year or more before Andy is able to return to work, and may never recover the ability to work in carpentry again. Andy's loss of income during this time will place a huge financial burden on his family while they go through this process, and we are asking for your generosity and help. Every dollar you donate goes a long way towards keeping Violet safe and healthy, and keeping Andy's energy focused on his recovery, so that he may get back to home and work as soon as possible. We thank you for all prayers and donations, and we will keep you regularly updated.
