Derrick Dendy Medical Expense

Derrick Dendy is currently at Duke Hospital in Raleigh, NC. He has been in and out of the hospital for the past two months, with, what started out as blood clots in his lungs, and has led to heart failure. Up until now, Derrick has been a very healthy individual, and doctors have no real idea as to what's caused these issues and believe he may need to have a heart transplant if his heart doesn't get stronger. Derrick is at least 6 hours away from any friends or family other than his girlfriend Joy Duggan who has been with him the entire time. Derrick is only 28 years old and works with adults with disabilities to help them acquire job skills and find employment.  He is a big part of the community and is very loved. Any money raised would help with his continually growing medical bills and related expenses, and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
