Our little SuziQ is growing up! She just turned 6 and has made us so proud over the past few years. As you may know, Suzi has Angelman Syndrome. Along with other things that means that she has seizures, can't form words, is about 18 months old cognitively, walks with an odd gait, tires easily, and needs a lot of help with every day tasks. It also makes her a very happy little girl with a smile for everyone.

We have found that Suzi is now too big for a traditional car seat with a 5 point harness and she's just not safe in a booster seat. She is also on the maximum size for her current wheelchair. What we hope to buy is a Special Tomato brand car seat that fits up to 150lbs and a convaid wheelchair that she can grow with a long time and use for school bus transportation.
