Hi, my name is Lilly. On the evening of February 28th, my brother’s baby girl Zoey got hit by a car. The hit visibly caused her a broken leg, however the animal hospital treating her is observing for any other unseen injuries. Observation will include various tests and imaging to verify functionality of her organs as well as other injuries not visible to the naked eye. The doctors are concerned the impact of the hit may have posed injuries to her chest cavity and therefore are pushing for further testing. So far surgery alone on her leg is estimated to be about $8k. However the hospital stay over the next few days prior to considering surgery and all the tests and imaging being done significantly increases this total. To all who know Zoey personally, you know how loving and playful she is. She is a ball of energy who just wants all your love and attention. Zoey enjoys the dog park, car rides, nature walks, the beach, the ocean, and more than anything, cuddles from her dad and big sister XJ. Zoey is more than just another cute husky, she is a daughter, she is a sister, she is a best friend, she is family.
