Hi my name is Jasmine. My family and I were traveling out of state for my partner’s new job. He’s being contracted in a state that is 15 hours away from home. We came along for support and to try life in new places. We were working on getting another vehicle so we would have 2, but only just recently started the contracts. So we haven’t been able to save up anything yet. We’ve only been here a month and had to finish paying bills that had piled up. We had a car accident and totaled my car. Our only car. I’m asking for any donations that can be sent to us. We are stuck in an awful situation. If my partner can’t get to work, we cannot make any money. We are not residents of this state and cannot get a credit card because of our bad credit, so we cannot get a rental car. This is unfortunately a small town so it doesn’t offer any options for Uber or Lyft unless we want food or wait for hours on end. We are very much stuck. Any donations are welcome.
