Adam’s Road to Recovery

Hello, this is Adam Krook’s family and we are asking for your help. On January 5th, 2023, Adam checked into the “Minute Clinic” with sore throat complications. He was sent home with over the counter medicine and to call if the symptoms progress. Later that evening, Adam awoke to breathing issues or lack of and called 911 for help. The ambulance brought Adam to North Memorial Medical where his throat swelled completely shut, went into cardiac arrest and died. The OR team did an emergency tracheotomy and CPR with successful measures in savings Adam’s life. Adam has been moved from the ICU today, January 7th, 2023 to the recovery care unit of the hospital. Adam is expected to make a full recovery with a very long stay and guidance from the healthcare professions. With that said, this recovery comes with a severe cost and that is why we are reaching out to all family and friends for your donations.
