I’m embarrassed to even ask anyone especially during the holiday season but anyone who knows me knows how much my dog, Kona means to me. She’s the only thing I own im this life and she’s been with me through my highest of highs and lowest of lows.

Back in August I started noticing after playing or laying for a long period of time, she would start limping. I brushed it off and blamed it on her aging. The limp started progressively getting worse and worse so I begin questioning whether it was age or if there was an underlying factor causing the limp…I ended up scheduling a vet appointment in which they informed me that something was, in fact, going on with her tibia moving when it shouldn’t be and that she will need to undergo PCOL surgery (surgery on her tibia/knee) costing upwards to $8k. Unfortunately I picked a career path that’s more fulfilling to my soul than my bank account

I don’t ask for much but my dog is my entire life so I’m here embarrassing myself asking for a little help.
