Our IVF Journey
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sarah Brown, and I am typically not the one to ever post personal things about my life or honestly talk to anyone much about my personal life. Still, I wanted to get our story out there to raise awareness for infertility and the process that it can entail. My husband, Patrick, and I have actively tried to get pregnant for about four years and have done everything from ovulation tests, buying a $200 Ava fertility bracelet to track my cycles, daily temperature checks, taking numerous vitamins daily, etc. I would google literally everything, and it was consuming my mind 24/7. I would stress out every month, pray, and hope this would be it, but it would never be.
We decided to try and get some answers at Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine. I underwent numerous blood tests, two HSGS, multiple ultrasounds, and many other checkups. We have found out that not only do I have very few eggs to work with, but they are also not the best quality.
The choice to pursue IVF was not an easy one and came after countless prayers. We also sought the wisdom of those we love and trust who could help us process what was best for us in our fertility journey. We feel confident in this decision moving forward but are feeling the weight of how expensive this treatment is- especially with no coverage from our insurance. We are reaching out for support in a challenging yet hopeful time in our lives.
Thank you, and we appreciate you taking the time to read this. We appreciate any donations and accept all the prayers for us as we embark on this crazy journey.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
