“My disease called CIDP is continuing to progress even though I am having Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIG) treatments. Doctors have increased treatments and have added low dose steroids in hopes to slow progression and hopefully bring it to a stop. Here are more detailed financial needs which insurance and Medicare will not cover at all.
1. Medical appointments. My son, Gage, has weekly therapy and medicine checks every six weeks. I have at least three appointments a week and IVIG treatment every three weeks.
2. I am officially unable to drive without hand controls. Those will cost $1,750 and will need to be installed in a compatible car such as a small SUV (Ford or Chevy) that was made in 2010 or newer. I will be taking driving lessons costing $90 and hour for at least 6 hours.
3. Travel expenses to and from Kansas City for the driving lesson and hand control installation.
Thank you for all your prayers! Keep praising Him!!”
