Please help me not get evicted

The story starts back in April when the primary income provider in our household died after a long battle with heart issues. Its been a constant struggle since then trying to adapt to having to fill the gap in our income, and we've managed on our savings up until recently. But due to unforeseen circumstances my household found itself without employment for most of the month of September, and we were unable to earn enough to be able to afford to pay our rent in full for the month of October on our own. We tried communicating with the leasing agency given we could pay it half way through the month since we've found employment again, but they refused to budge, threatening us with eviction if we did not pay the full amount in time by October 11th.

Even if we were to collect everything we had, ignoring the cost of food, gas, and other monthly bills, we would still be short ~$500. I've been asked by a number of people to make this donation portal so that they can help my temporary situation, as I have hesitated to ask for help up until this point, stubbornly trying to deal with things on my own. But this finical struggle has worn me down, and I admit I can no longer bear this out without help from others.

Wow I really didn't expect so much help from everyone! The initial goal would've left me without any money for food & gas until the the 13th, so I'm increasing the goal to cover those expenses.
