First, let me thank you for taking the time to visit my page and consider my request.
For over the last year and a half I have been faced with a multitude of men's health issues.
I'm a "public figure" but this side of life has been very private..
I'm a man of my achievements and contributions to the community, but with the "battles" sometime seem as if they're crying to be the victor. I don't and won't stand for that to be.
I'm too proud to ask for help but by the suggestion of many friends; drop my pride and become vulnerable and let those who love and care for me turn it to their ability to help where they can . For over many the years I've done just that for others.
What's the issue Tim?
Well, through most of my life I have struggled with reoccurring depression, Type two Diabetes ( 8 years this fall ) and now these men's health issues. Such issues continue to be treated through preventative measures and treatment such as possible cancer(s) ( which long runs in my family) to a condition not known whether it contributes to my young age of 42 or genetics.
This is a corrective and is a final exhausted procedure which will take care of an issue where 6 rounds of treatment over the last year plus that hasn't and didn't resolve the issues.
That alone was estimated at $3,000 a shot times two to equal one treatment week
( Roughly $36,000 plus Doctor visits and co pays)
I've thought long and hard, and said many a prayers to whether my condition should go public.
Perhaps in the coming weeks as I accept this life adjustment. But please be assured- I've sought the best of care from the professionals in the metro DC Area but even with that my insurance, co-pays, and other day to day living expenditures continue to add up.
Ultimately, I'm looking to get the bills in the mail and send them right back as paid in full and just heal.
This upcoming surgery is my second of surgeries and is set for the 26th of June, at George Washington University Hospital.
I've been told recovery alone could be up to 12 weeks long.
So humbly, I submit to request for the contributions you may have to offer and please know that any consideration is greatly appreciated.
The gift(s) is/are not amounted by dollars but by the goal of getting life back on track.
That is my goal.
Again, thank you for your consideration;
Friend or Stranger.
With heart, a very gracious heart. Humbly yours,
Tim
