New Beginnings for Mama & Daughter

Donation protected
My name is Savanna.  My daughter's name is Sparrow, like the sweet little songbird she is.  For the past several years, I have been a stay-at-home Mama, struggling with disabilities, such as MS, migraine disorder, and the effects of agricultural poisoning.  We are quiet, peaceful souls, love our little garden- full of flowers, berries, and tomatoes, and take care of several neighborhood ferile cats.  Our hearts are big, our home cozy, but our spirits and finaces have recently been broken to pieces.  My partner of seven years, Sparrow's father, who has been under the care of doctors and struggled for years with mental disorders, recently had a severe manic cycle, became suicidal, and left us in debt and without a vehicle or sustainable source of income.  We immediately went from beautiful family/ happy home to poverty in a matter of weeks.  State assistance programs are strapped and loved ones who want to help are very limited in how much they can.  Before her father left, we were working on plans to buy a little farm, raise a big organic garden, some free-range laying hens, and maybe some fruit trees.  I would so very much love to have my own place to call home, where we can bring our sweet smelling flowers, tart blackberries, and my little one's strawberry patch.  I would so very much love to not have to worry about being unable to pay the bills, being evicted, or seeing any more stress on my little one's face than the absence of her beloved daddy has caused.  I would like to be able to drive my daughter to dance class, church, or to the park.  I need a reliable source of transportation.  I need funding to invest in ways we can sustain ourselves.  Despite my illness and despite our situation, I am resiliant and my little sunbeam handles life beautifully.  I am usually among the first to reach out to help others and shy away from asking for help for myself.  However, the reality of the situation I am facing is dire and I don't want to wait before it's too late to ask for help.  I am clawing my way out of a hole and I need the kindness of others, willing to throw me a rope.  Thank you.
