Hi, my name is Lola. I am 13 and a half years old and I really need your help, please. I’m already finding life difficult as I’m nearly completely blind, and I lost my brother Olly back in June. I’m showing signs of mental decline, and I can’t understand why I can’t find him. To make matters worse I am now in lots of physical pain, and I haven’t eaten since Wednesday. My Mummy keeps taking me to the vets, and they’ve done lots of tests, but unfortunately these are very costly as I need to be sedated each time due to the high anxiety of being in the vets. While I was sedated one of the things they discovered was that I have really bad teeth, (typical for a dog of my age) and I really need to have dental surgery. I am booked in the vets for Thursday to have my surgery, but that combined with the tests I’ve already had done is going to be around a total of £2,000. My Mummy really wants to do the best for me, but doesn’t currently work as she’s a full time carer for her son. If you can help any amount will be greatly appreciated.
