The Humane Society of East Texas' Pets Fur People needs your help. Pets Fur People is the only no-kill facility in East Texas, and is dedicated to saving the lives of animals and ministering to people through pets. We receive no ongoing funding from our city, county or any other affiliation or organization. We rely solely on the donations of our community.
We've been saving pets and pairing them with their forever families for 50 years in East Texas. When we made the switch to our NO-KILL policy 5 years ago, the commuity promised to help. We've been blessed, but demands on us keep growing. We need more help.
Every day, each animal that we house costs $13 per day, and it is now puppy and kitten season. The adoption fees that we charge only account for a fraction of each pets' cost.
We need to raise $90,000 in 90 days to make sure we can make it through this season. And to keep this ministry alive, we need significant, ongoing monthly donors. ANy contribution is so much appreciated. Thank you!
