On Wednesday, September 24th, my boyfriend was the victim of a hit-and-run accident, just one day after we purchased a vehicle in preparation for the arrival of our first baby, due in just a few weeks. The driver who hit him fled the scene, leaving him trapped upside down in the car, severely injured and without assistance. He sustained a broken arm and a severed artery affecting three fingers, injuries that will require extensive medical treatment and physical therapy. At this point, we’re unsure if he will fully regain mobility or strength in his hand. He had just started a new job three months ago and was preparing to be our family’s sole provider while I stay home to care for our newborn. Now, with him unable to work and facing a long road to recovery, we’re also left without a vehicle and facing significant medical expenses. As we prepare to welcome our baby during this incredibly uncertain time, we are humbly asking for any support. October 9th update- As of this morning due to complications in his arm from getting infected from the car accident he will be getting his left arm amputated.. please keep him in your prayers and anything is very much appreciated thank you.
