If you know anything about the Humphrey family, it’s that we rarely, if ever, ask anyone for help, and instinctually refuse help if offered.
Since early 2019, I’ve been struggling to find full time work. Of course the pandemic hasn’t helped with the search for employment, and I’ve been fortunate enough to find occasional freelance work over the last 4 years, but it hasn’t been enough to keep me afloat.
Financially, food and shelter have been my priority, but the other bills have been piling up unpaid. I’ve exhausted all of my own resources and now trying to get federal assistance which is proving to be very challenging and confusing. My biggest fear is I’ve waited too long before everything starts to snowball out of control.
So, here I am now, embarrassed, with my head bowed and my tail between my legs, asking for help. Any financial donation will be greatly appreciated.
