Adam's Reflection Bench

Donation protected
Adam John Sanford passed away on 25 January 2023 at 615pm at home in Avalon Beach surrounded by his family. His dance with cancer was one of the most courageous and truly inspiring super human challenges witnessed in this life.

Adam’s first lesson on his journey was to open his heart and mind fully to the world around him. He deepened his commitment to integrating meditation in his daily practice and was becoming a teacher to others. He wanted to create a closer connection with those in his life and help others to do the same.

To ensure his spirit lives on for years to come, the children had the idea of placing a bench at Bungan Beach, one of his favourite places he liked to take us where the world seemed to stand still. Our community and those whom we never met can be still to reflect and learn from him in some small way.

We would like to invite you to contribute to his memory by making whatever small donation you can here. Thank you for all the love and support these past months and in the days ahead. We are grateful to you for holding us when we may need to lean on you.

We will be having a celebration of his life both here in Australia soon and in the UK later this year. Your memories and pictures have given us great solace and are always welcome to pay tribute to a man who showed grace and selflessness to the very end.

Adam, forever will you live in the many hearts you touched throughout your beautiful life. We love you now and forever xxxx
