Juan came to this country in look for a better future. He came here alone and worked hard for his family that stayed in Mexico. He had been living with us since I can remember, I’m 17 years old and he’s part of this family. My younger sisters call him uncle and even though we may not be related by blood we still care deeply for him and wish to help him in any way we can. But we need help. He overworked himself, didn’t have a car cause he chose to walk since he didn’t want to waste on gas. Had a majority of jobs over this time and only cared about helping his family to the point where his body couldn’t keep up anymore… Juan Hernandez died at the age of 57 on August 12, 2023 at 10:22 am, his bones were weak and passed away of a heart attack in the hospital. We need help because we can’t afford a funeral. He hadn’t seen his family for 25 years which is why the funeral would be held in Mexico, we hope to be able to send him back with his family so they could see him one last time, especially his kids. We ask for help in any way possible whether it’s a dollar or spreading the word, any help is deeply appreciated.
