Bring Annita Musto Price Home

Donation protected
This is our mother Annita Musto Price.  In 1974, she was a 27 year old single mother of 2  living and working in Moundsville, WV.    On May 30, she had left for work at a local club where she was a waitress at the Flamingo Club in Benwood, WV.  She never made it to work and the car she was driving was later found parked on the side of the road heading southbound on route 2, with no sign of Annita.  Family and friends searched for Annita to no avail.  The West Virginia State Police were brought in but were unsuccessful in locating our mom.  It is believed she met with foul play.

Due to the diligence of Annita's family and tips to law enforcement we now believe we have located the sight of Annita's remains.  In the fall of 2015 human remain dogs were sent to an area near Moundsville, that is the believed burial site, all dogs alerted to remains in the area.  This is the same area that dogs had once before alerted to remains ten years earlier.  After the dogs alerted to human remains we hired a private contractor to come and run a ground penetrating radar to establish if there were any disturbances in the ground in that area.  The results revealed there is disturbance in the area.

With all of the evidence that has come forward we are now ready for the last stage of bringing our mother home.  The actual recovery phase.  This is were we need your help.  The cost for recovery is not cheap.  We will need heavy digging equipment, equipment operators, meals and accomodations for the volunteers working on the recovery, and we will have to pay to restore the area to its original condition when we have completed our task.  Our hope is to begin this process as soon as possible.

We have waited 42 years to reach this resolution.  She missed seeing her children grow up and was robbed of being involved with her 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  Annita and her family deserve justice.   It means everything to all of us.  Please consider helping us bring her home.

Thank you all for your generosity and your prayers.  God Bless you all.

Sincerely,

Madonna Layne and Leonard Price Jr.
