On a violent, stormy night, a cursed motel bar traps four supernatural misfits until sunrise:

Vincent, a bitter vampire landlord,

Iris, a reckless fairy with zero impulse control,

Alistair, an anxious werewolf who sheds more than fur,

And Hilda, a witch carrying centuries of regret.

When Vincent is found reduced to dust, the bar seals itself shut under an ancient curse... unless the killer is revealed and sacrificed before dawn.

Midnight Sun is a 10-minute fantasy dark comedy blending miniature sets, 2D animation, and live action into a playful, highly stylized murder mystery.

Lunar Films is a BCIT student production currently working on ‘Midnight Sun’, an original short film written by Maria Monaco, directed by Fernanda Diaz Cervantes, and shot by Sylvie Shou.

As students, we are seeking donor support to help cover our production costs. Our fundraising goal of $5,000 will go toward equipment rentals, set building, talent fees, props, and other essential elements needed to bring this magical world to life.
