On June 6, 2015, Ivette Cabrera passed after a quick, but aggressive bout with a rare form of cancer (Cholangiocarcinoma). Although only 43 years old, Ivette accomplished so much in her life. Her greatest moments, however, were raising her only daughter, Ciara, and becoming a grandmother to James, a mere three months before she passed.

One of Ivette's last requests before she passed was that family and friends donate to a fund for her grandson, James, rather than purchase flowers for her at her funeral. To honor her final request, we have created the Ivette Cabrera Memorial Fund to gather donations for her only grandson.
