Destination Imagination Global Finals

Team D.I.sco Ballsa placed in the Engineering challenge at their Regional (1st) and State (3rd) tournaments to qualify for competition at the Destination Imagination (DI) Global Finals and will be representing USA/Ohio! They will compete against 8000+ students from over 15 countries during a 4-day event in Kansas City, Missouri. DI is a competition where teams participate in project-based challenges that are designed to build confidence and develop extraordinary creativity, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. 

The team is made up of Aanya Patel, a sixth-grader at Hudson Middle school, eighth-graders Shilpa Gopal, Aditi Sanghavi, and Justin Vaden from Hudson Montessori School, Pooja Vallampati from Harmon Middle school in Aurora, and Coach Rajyalakshmi Alladi. For months, D.I.sco Ballsa has spent countless hours, multiple days a week, planning, researching, building and crafting, while showing remarkable leadership, creativity and intelligence.

While this is an incredible opportunity, registration alone is $5500 and does not include lodging, food or travel. Any donations at any level are greatly appreciated.
