On February 18, 2020 the Grill family got the call that every parent fears. Their two youngest children Taylor and Cade had been in a car wreck, head on with a semi. With the Grace of God and his protective Angels both children were alive. Cade was able to walk away, but Taylor’s injuries were life threatening.
Taylor was flown from Rapid City to UC Health in Aurora. Taylor had a broken femur in her left leg, a broken tibia in her right leg. Her left arm was severely damaged and had to be amputated. Dr’s are working to keep remaining tissue healthy so she can be fit with a prosthetic.
Taylor has many procedures ahead of her. She has an amazing attitude and is facing this head on… Quoting her “She survived a crash with a semi because she is “badass”!!!
