Support Natasha's Recovery Journey

This is Shanna, Natasha's friend. Please help try to keep her afloat during this tragic accident!! I copied and pasted her post on her injuries. She'll be out of work for months! She has no health insurance, is still in the ER, and needs rehab to learn to walk again. I can't believe I'm having to even say this.

I got ran over and dragged by an SxS (heavy ATV) on concrete yesterday morning.

I was life-flighted to Skyline Trauma Center in Nashville.

My whole body is pretty beat up: bilateral posterior acetabular fracture (pelvic), bilateral pubic rami fracture, T8 transverse fracture (spine, stable), pinky fracture on my right hand, lots of contusions and swelling... ribs, knee, elbow, face, head, hands, hip...

*Had surgery today, placed some giant screws in the right sacrum; I had a completely separated fracture.

I'm going to be allowed to be weight-bearing on my left leg with crutches.

Prior to surgery, it was a possibility I would have to have screws in the left front fracture also to stabilize my pelvis. I would have been completely non-weight bearing for 6-8 weeks.

Thank God!

I'm stable... I'm OK.

I can't believe this is my life right now.
