Our beloved mother, Sara, has always lived her life caring for others. On July 27th, she suffered a devastating stroke and has passed away. Through a long three weeks of fighting, she gave one last act of compassion and gave the gift of life through organ donation in her last days. Her decision to donate comes as no surprise, because throughout her entire life she dedicated herself to helping others. Sara was a nurse who spent her career in home health care, compassionately caring for those in need, and she carried that same love and selflessness into her role as a mother of six and even as a grandmother to one. She touched countless lives with her kindness, patience, and unwavering love.

As a family, we want to honor Sara the way she deserves — not with a somber funeral, but with a celebration of life filled with love, laughter, and memories. This gathering will be a chance for family, friends, and all who knew her to come together and remember the beautiful woman she was.
