Hi, my name is Tim Marquitz, and me and my family are struggling both to keep a roof over our heads and the utlities on. I work as a freelance editor, and I've had very little work come my way of late, thus we're having a hard time catching up, let alone keeping current.

To top it off, thanks to a change in laws after 9/11, my birth certificate (born overseas) has been invalidated, only making things worse. I found this out all these years later when I went to renew my driver's license in person for the first time in ages, and I was denied (can't get an Id, either). As such, I can't find a regular job as I'm effectively undocumented in my own country.

As I wait for that process to settle (it's been many months already), I'm stuck in limbo with no way to move forward or earn a real income, and I would be grateful for any all help you can provide.
