What started as a beautiful day in the climber’s mecca of Yosemite Valley suddenly turned into a life-altering trauma when Jonathan fell 25 feet off a climb and hit the ground. He sustained a pylon fracture to his tibia, a broken fibula, and a compression fracture to one of his vertebrae, resulting in two serious surgeries fusing his spine and stabilizing his leg. Jonathan is lucky to be alive, but the road to recovery will be long and painful.
Jonathan has been an avid adventurer his entire life and was beginning to build his dream career as a mountain guide. Climbing, mountaineering and skiing are some of his biggest passions that he must now put on hold indefinitely along with his career. All donations will go directly to Jonathan and his family to cover rescue and medical expenses, transportation and the cost of living. Thank you for your kind thoughts, prayers, and donations in support of Jonathan in this difficult time.
