We are devastated to share the news of the tragic loss of Arrien Porterfield, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend. Arrien's life was taken from us in a senseless act of violence during a fatal shooting in Bluewell. As the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department continues its investigation, we come together as a community to honor Arrien's memory and support his family during this incredibly difficult time.

Arrien, 27, was a resident of Princeton and touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and vibrant spirit. He had dreams and aspirations that will now forever remain unfulfilled. We remember him as someone who brought joy and laughter to those around him, and his absence leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him.

In the early hours of Sunday, tragedy struck when deputies were called to the area of Lynn’s Drive-In in response to a shooting complaint. Upon their arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of Arrien Porterfield, leaving us all in shock and disbelief.

As we grieve the loss of a promising young life, we also stand united in our commitment to seek justice for Arrien. We hope that through this GoFundMe campaign, we can offer some relief to Arrien's family, assisting with legal expenses, as well as other immediate needs they may face during this challenging period.
