On May 28th, I received a call from my mom (Lisa) that the right side of her body (starting from her foot and going up) went numb. She also called 911 so by the time I got to her, they had checked her vitals and everything was okay so far. I took her to Centennial Hospital where they started with a CT scan that showed a large, benign meningioma in her head that was causing nerve damage. They performed an 8 hour craniotomy that Friday (May 31st) and her surgeon was able to get most of it out.

She stayed in the hospital for about a week and was moved to a rehab facility where she stayed for 2 weeks. Thankfully she has been making great progress in her recovery but still has a very long road ahead of her. We are praying and hoping that she can get back to her job as a Preschool Teacher in August, but we just don't know what's going to happen or how fast.

Everything donated will be going towards medical bills, therapy bills, food, and all other bills she needs to pay while she's unable to work.
