Hi! I truly appreciate you taking the time to hear Jay’s story. If you know Jay Fiore, then you know it’s going to take a lot more than Brain Cancer to knock him down to the ground, but the road ahead won’t be an easy one. Jay recently experienced a life-altering event that has left him and his family in a state of shock and uncertainty. Jay had a seizure in his sleep where he bit his tongue causing him to aspirate on blood. Nicole immediately called 911 and he was rushed to the hospital. He was admitted to ICU and placed on a ventilator. After a series of tests, the doctors made a devastating discovery. Jay has a large mass in his brain. The news hit the family hard, but they gathered their strength and faced the challenge head-on. 

Two weeks later, Jay underwent a craniotomy to remove the tumor. The surgery was successful, in fact Jay took it like a champ — but the journey is far from over.Just a week after the surgery, Jay received another blow. He was diagnosed with Grade 3 Astrocytoma. He will be commuting to New York City for radiation and chemotherapy treatments putting a significant financial strain on the family. 

This is where we come in. We have set up this GoFundMe page to rally support for Jay during this incredibly difficult time. Our goal is to alleviate the financial burden they are facing, allowing them to focus on Jay's treatment without the added stress of mounting medical bills. All gifted contributions will go directly towards covering the costs of Jay's medical treatments, including radiation and chemotherapy. 

Additionally, the funds will help with everyday expenses and the commuting costs to Cornell 

(gas, parking, hotel) ensuring that Jay can maintain some semblance of stability during this challenging period.
