Rescue Horses from Slaughter
Donation protected
ERN has been watching in horror as 1,000 horses per week stop at the Kaufman County "Processing Center" before crossing the border for slaughter in Mexico.
The rescues and homes in Texas are becoming increasing scarce. Yet, we have rescues willing to take slaughter horses outside of Texas. ERN has created a plan to send a trailer to Texas regularly to save horses. These horses will be transported back to ERN approved rescue organizations for quarantine, rehab, retraining and rehoming.
The average cost is $700 per horse. All donations go toward helping slaughter horses. ERN is a register 501c3 and staffed entirely by volunteers.
So PLEASE help us, help these horses get the chance they deserve.
Thank you!
