My name is Bailey. I was born deaf and had cochlear implant surgery when I was three years old. The cochlear implant has afforded me the opportunity to regain some of my hearing. I'm a senior at Buchanan High School and am getting ready to attend Fresno State this fall as a nursing student.

Recently, my car was broken into and my cochlear hearing device was stolen. A new cochlear hearing aid costs roughly $10,000 and my family is unable to afford the costs of the new device.
