My name is Noemi, I am a volunteer of Watermelon Friends Italia and I opened this collection in collaboration with Ramsy. I have been in contact with Ramsy's family, especially his sisters Ghada and Randa since March 2024. Ramsy, Ghada and Randa are therefore three siblings who live between Europe and Egypt but their entire family is in Gaza. The mother, five brothers, a sister and their respective families. In total about 47 people. There are many children in the family: the youngest are Sham and Mesk, born in February 2024 and May 2024.

This family needs our protection and concrete help.

Living conditions in Gaza are harsh and inhumane and the prices of all essential goods have skyrocketed. Some examples: since October 2023, the price of flour has increased 111 times. 28 times for powdered milk. The money raised is therefore used to support Ramsy, Ghada and Randa's family. At the moment the Rafah crossing that allows, by paying figures ranging between $5,000 and $9,000, entry into Egypt after a far from simple bureaucratic process, is closed but if it were to reopen, the money raised would be set aside for that hypothesis too.

Watermelon is a group of volunteers who support the Palestinian people of Gaza. What we do is keep in touch with about 300 families, bring their stories to as many people as possible and at the same time talk about their fundraisers. I soldi questa raccolta servono quindi al sostentamento della famiglia di Ghada e Randa. Al momento il valico di Rafah che permette, pagando cifre che oscillano tra i 5.000 e i 9.000 $ l'ingresso in Egitto dopo un iter burocratico per nulla semplice, è chiuso ma se dovesse riaprire, I soldi raccolti verrebbero messi da parte anche per quella ipotesi.

I soldi che donerete arriveranno direttamente al conto corrente di Ramsy tramite Gofund me. Lui provvede poi a inviarli alla sua famiglia.
