Hi everyone. My 8 yr old kitty Skittles had to have an emergency surgery. She started showing signs of something going on 2 days ago. I have been trying to catch her and finally caught her today. She was diagnosed with Pyometra. What that is, her uterus became severely infected. I stayed by her side the entire time before, during and after her surgery. The doctor told me that her uterus is suppose to be as thick as a shoe string. I saw it when it was removed and it looked like 2 sausages. Luckily I got her there before she became septic. With this all being said, the vet bill is more than I can ever afford. I already work 2 jobs and there is no way I could get a 3rd.
