Our dearest Queen who was a mother to 4 , grandma to 6 grand babies , friend to all who knew her . has been fighting for 5 years has finally laid her head to rest . Our mother Florence was so strong willed, she supported everyone no matter what you liked or who you liked .. she was the type of person who you can confide in when you were hurting and she would care for you and make sure you left with a smile on your face. She was the most powerful spirit when she walked in a room.. she was the face you wanted to see every morning .. I know she won’t be forgotten .
Our mother has been fighting underlying conditions with diabetes , nerve damage in which caused her legs to stop working and end in permanent nerve damage . Her eyes began to give out when she got cataracts.. obtaining from the diabetes that got worse . Our year 2 in 2019 our mother was diagnosed with a heart murmur in which doctors were scared to perform risky procedures/surgeries .
Following into the year she was referred to get dialysis permanently, doctors told us her heart & kidneys were failing and only working at 32%… as our year carried we continued to stay strong and give as much support to our beloved mother as much as we can.. our mother kept pushing , she kept telling us she was going to to never give up..
Our Mama flower finally got tired .. day by day she got weaker and started losing strength and ability to move at all.. she started losing hope going to dialysis everyday gathering energy 3 times a week for 4 years.. it was a lot for her..
On February 23rd 2022, our mommy lied down on the hospital bed and waited to feel, hear , and hold each and every one of us.. until she took her last breath .. i know in my heart she was waiting to see her grand babies last. I felt it was time for her to rest . So we kissed her goodnight and told her to rest momma rest .
