Hi FB Family,
It is with great sadness that Betty Hernandez family lost their brother after complications in the hospital from internal bleeding. Anthony Hernandez, died June 7th right before midnight. His entire family is in great pain and truly suffering a great loss. Anthony, was the brother, friend, and uncle that always made sure the neighborhood, family and friends knew what was going on daily from always being the one who sat on the porch protecting his home and speaking to passer by people in the neighborhood. His heart wanted the best, he was kind and loving and always had an easy going personality best described as light hearted where he kept things simple to never add fuel to the fire. He grew up having a love for dart competitions so before he got sick he collected several trophies in dart competitions. In fact, he was always at the local bar keeping never drinking but just making people feel comfortable sharing his stories and listening to them so he kept himself occupied even when he lived with a colostomy bag. He never wanted to be a burdeon so he learned to take care of himself with all his complications after several surgeries that eventually took his life. Anthony, loved his family pets, listening, talking, and keeping a watchful eye on his neighborhood so he always had a story to share with his loved ones. The family is experiencing a great loss right now and would appreciate any dollar amount just to assist in the funeral costs. There will be several bills coming into the home for medical care, loss of work wages for the head of household Betty. To add, my dear friend Betty didn't ask for assistance but she has many financial responsibilities and in my heart I heard her cry to the fear of having creamating him when it's not in her belief because she has no savings left after many recent expensive bills that have acrued. Betty is a friend that will show up at your house after a car accident when you live alone and bring you food, medicine and company no matter how late it is. I know, because I was lucky enough to have her at my door after a horrible car accident I was in. Without any doubt, if this was a friend of mine & I asked Betty if she can contribute towards raising funds to have even just a simple funeral she wouldn't think twice and donate. Please, take a moment of your time and donate any dollar amount you can afford. Skip 2 days of starbucks coffee and muffins and that's $10 already. At the end of the day there are three types of people:
1. The ones who help others (God will bless you)
2. The ones who just take from others (We pray for you)
3. Then those who just read and move on (Take a moment to rethink & allow your heart to help another)
Betty is the type that helps others, spends time helping strangers if need be and of course, always is there for a friend in need. She is heart broken as the rest of her family but Betty's brother Anthony lived with her so the pain of the loss is not only in her heart but all around her in her home. Choose today to be #1. The one who will help another by making even the smallest donation. We all have loss and struggles but what kind of world do we live in if we cant help with just one thing in our friends and family's lives? Help them bury their loved ones when they can't afford the entire cost them selves or even the buerdon of financing it. It all will fall on Betty because she has always been the head of household where everything always falls on her but she is only one person and she simply is not able to afford another large bill that involved our Godly duty and that's to help thy neighbor and help they brother. Let's all reach into our hearts and just give a few dollars if possible. We are children of God and it's our hope that at times like this we see the goodness in people and bring hope back to the lives of those suffering and mourning a tragic family loss. God bless all of you who will partake in this plea and may the lord show you the way to having compassion in someone elses time of need where one day it may be reciprocated because love and kindness will keep our hearts alive.....
